I didn't realize so much happened on Deviant Art, or that one of my painting got featured as a DD. It was a funny story actually - As my style changed and as I become more drawn to traditional and fine art, I began to visit Deviant Art less and less. Somehow, I thought most of my followings on Deviant Art or most people in general on Deviant Art are only interested in my older (more anime-y, cartoony) style.
I just recently graduated with a BFA from an university and have been actively participating in the local art scenes. The next goal in life for me is to get into an MFA Painting program somewhere so I can spend the next few years painting away.
I really want to thank everyone who notice my art and understand and appreciate the change I've gone through in the last few years.
I don't think I can ever stop drawing or painting no matter how my style changes or whatever art arena I end up entering. It is what I love and what I do.
Thank you so much for your support everyone!!
Sincerely,
Kathy Liao aka akiko hiromoto
